Barge & Crane Services

Overview:

Maine island deliveries

Round Pond Marine, Inc uses a 20 x 40 foot steel barge with an 8 ton hydraulic crane and ramps for vehicles and heavy equipment. The barge and crane allows for the capacity to drive all types of piling, set and inspect moorings, marine salvage, handle all aspects of heavy material delivery and transport all types of vehicles and equipment.

Island Deliveries:

Our experience in island deliveries includes all types of construction and building materials and equipment, vehicles, tractors, propane tanks, sheds, dumpsters, septic tanks, and many other cargo that requires large scale handling with exceptional attention and care.

RPMS can also deliver all the material needed for your project directly to the shoreline, whether it is stone, steel, wood or concrete. This non-invasive way to build means no heavy equipment is moved over your valuable property.

Marine Pile Driving:

RPMS is experienced in providing both small scale and larger scale piling removal and replacement. We provide driven or drilled piles into the rocky shoreline and will utilize the highest quality material whether it be support piling for a dock, fender piling for a commercial boat landing, or finger pier supports.

Marine Salvage:

RPMS can provide short notice marine salvage services for various salvage situations including, but not limited to, simple boat groundings, sunken vessels, capsized vessels, as well as vessels or objects that are adrift or submerged.

Miscellaneous Services:

Sailboat Mast Stepping, Laying or Retrieval of Underwater Cable, any other services which can be made more efficient through the use of our barge and crane.
