Overview:
Round Pond Marine Services, Inc. builds and services
custom docks and floats that hold up against the harsh weather
of coastal Maine. Using only the highest quality materials,
we will work closely with you to design and construct the appropriate
dock and float system for your location, which is both highly
functioning and aesthetically pleasing. Our heavy duty floats
are built using float drums, all galvanized hardware and a
variety of decking options including spruce, pressure treated,
hard wood or composite decking. Because of the quality of our
workmanship and the materials we use, we guarantee a Round
Pond Marine built dock structure will stand the test of time—an
important feature on the often turbulent and unpredictable
Maine coastline.
Service & Repair:
Round Pond Marine will ensure that your
floats and runways seasonal needs are met, including hook-up
and removal, storage, maintenance and float chain inspections.
RPMS is always available for emergency repairs, and will ensure
that your dock system is in order, equipped and ready for your
boating season.
Docks & Piers:
|
Round Pond Marine, Inc. has experience
with many different types of pier construction. Whether it
is a traditional oak piling pier, pressure treated piling pier,
aluminum gangway sectional pier, or stone cribwork pier, RPMS
will guarantee a high level of quality craftmanship that is
completed in a timely manner. Jamie will visit your location
and help you envision which type of dock system will best suit
your needs and your budget, and will provide a fair and accurate
financial estimate for the job. As experts in Maine marine
construction, we take special care to build docks that are
not only attractive but are durable enough to handle the severe
conditions of the marine environment in the Northeast. We provide
the latest options in piling and decking materials for whatever
fits your desire and your budget. Round Pond Marine, Inc is
able to build from the water, right from our barge, so no matter
how steep or rocky your shoreline is, we can work easily and
with a minimal impact to your property.
Dock Permitting:
Federal, State, and local requirements call
for a stringent process for approval of new dock construction
projects in the State of Maine. Our experience allows us
to effectively handle this process for you if you so choose,
leaving us to take care of all Federal, State, and local
permits.
New Dock Construction:
From start to finish, Round Pond Marine will lead you through
the complete construction process. We begin with surveying
the site to understand the unique conditions of your waterfront
property, as well as gaining a full understanding of what
you envision for it. We make sure you understand all of your
options for design and materials and then provide an accurate
and reasonable financial estimate.
In order for you to receive local and state approval of
your waterfront project, we can also provide support in navigating
through the regulatory agencies, including our handling all
aspects of the permitting process if you desire. We manage
the ordering and delivering of all the material used on your
job in an environmentally conscious manner. Finally, we construct
a high quality and well-built dock system, which will endure
for years to come in the face of the harsh conditions of
the Maine coast.
